Dr. Zinaida Vasilyeva
Postdoc
Zinaida Vasilieva hat an der Universität Neuchâtel, Schweiz, in Anthropologie promoviert. In ihrer Dissertation mit dem Titel „From Skills to Selves: Recycling ‚Soviet DIY‘ in Post-Soviet Russia“ untersuchte sie, wie Bedeutungen und Werte der handwerklichen Kenntnissen und Fähigkeiten sowie Do-it-yourself-Praktiken in der späten Sowjetgesellschaft zugeschrieben wurden und sich nach der Auflösung der sowjetischen Ordnung verschoben und verändert haben.
Bevor sie 2018 zum TUM kam, arbeitete sie als Gastwissenschaftlerin am Department of Anthropology der University of California, Berkeley (2016) und am Leibniz-Institut für Länderkunde, Leipzig (2017). Von 2013 bis 2015 war sie Geschäftsführerin des Projekts „Russian Computer Scientists at Home and Abroad“ am STS Center der European University in St. Petersburg.
Ihre Hauptfachgebiete sind Wissenschafts- und Technikanthropologie, Materialstudien, Wissensinfrastrukturen und Imaginationen der Moderne. Ihr besonderes Interesse gilt den kommunitaristischen Diskursen verschiedener technischer und wissenschaftlicher Gemeinschaften und den Logiken der Gerechtigkeit, die durch konkurrierende Wissens-/Machtinfrastrukturen gefördert werden. Derzeit arbeitet sie als PostDoc am STS Department, TUM, bei Prof. Dr. Sebastian Pfotenhauer (Lehrstuhl „Innovationsforschung“) und beschäftigt sich mit der europäischen Raumfahrtpolitik und -technologie im Rahmen des laufenden Projekts: Metaforis: Europa gestalten durch und für seine Forschungsinfrastrukturen.
