On Nov 10, 2020, Sebastian Pfotenhauer appeared on a keynote panel “Driving systemic change in a post-pandemic world” as part of the symposium “Designig a resilient Europe” symposium hosted by the EuroTech Alliance, a consortium of leading technical universities in Europe. Following a keynote by European Commissioner for Internal Market, Thierry Breton, the panel discussed what can be learned for governance and innovation from how the current pandemic has affected our daily lives, our economy, our educational system, our whole society. The panel also included MEP and ITRE Vice-Chair Lina Gálvez Muñoz, President of Ecole polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne Martin Vetterli, and Dean of the TUM School of Governance Eugénia da Conceição-Heldt. Sebastian Pfotenhauer is Carl von Linde Professor of innovation research at MCTS and the TUM School of Management and the Co-Director of MCTS.
