MCTS welcomes Prof. Alan K. L. Chan from NTU Singapore

MCTS was very happy to welcome Prof. Alan K. L. Chan from Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore. Prof. Chan visited the MCTS in order to maintain and improve the contacts established during Prof. Sabine Maasen’s and Dr. Uli Meyer’s trip to Asia in 2017.

We are especially glad to exchange experiences with Prof. Chan since NTU Singapore has just launched a new MCTS Institute – the NTU Institute of Science and Technology for Humanity (NISTH). The initial focus of NISTH will be on responsible innovation; governance and leadership in the Age of the 4th Industrial Revolution; and Emerging Urban Asia, cutting across different technological domains such as AI, big data, internet of things, personalized medicine, and robotics.
