MCTS Visiting Professor Evelyn Ruppert

Welcome to the MCTS‘ Visiting Professor Evelyn Ruppert, who will be staying with us from May 27th-June 3rd, 2017.

Prof. Ruppert is an accomplished scholar in the field of Sociology. Coming from the Centre for Research on Socio-cultural Change (CRESC), a collaboration between the Open University and the University of Manchester, she joined Goldsmiths, University of London in 2013. Prior to that she has been working as a consultant, policy advisor and Assistant Professor of Sociology at Trent University. Currently she is the lead researcher of EU-funded ARITHMUS project. She is also lead editor and founder of Big Data & Society: Critical Interdisciplinary Inquiries.
