Conference@MCTS: TechnoScienceSociety (23.-25.11.2015)

During the last decades advanced technosciences such as nanotechnology, biotechnology computer- and neurosciences gained increasing prominence in research, politics and civil society. Technosciences increasingly set the terms of research, influence political agendas and transform the everyday lives of people.

With the perspective of TechnoScienceSociety we emphasize the co-constitutive relationships of technological, scientific and social phenomena. The conference aims to prepare the forthcoming Sociology of the Sciences Yearbook.
