What impact do undetermined digitalization projects unfold in existing companies? This PhD-project aims at the impact of projects, which are conducted under reference to digitalization, digital technologies or digital media in two existing organizations. At least in the beginning, the content of these projects is underdetermined and the resulting process of (re-)negotiation of processes, decisions and content between the involved actors is analyzed. Therefore, projects from two companies from industry and service work are in focus.

The Experimental Making of the Future of Work The aim of the research project is to investigate experimental approaches to alternative forms of work. In the context of discourses on Industrie 4.0 and the Future of Work, organizations try to reflect on the meaning of these often-abstract developments in relation to their own actions, and to develop corresponding programs.
