Prof. Dr. Jessica Eynard

Law, Science and TechnologyJessica Eynard is an Assistant Professor at the University of Toulouse Capitole, France. She joined the Chair of Law, Science and Technology at the Technical University of Munich as a Visiting Professor in 2022. Her research interests include artificial intelligence law, digital identity and personal data protection law.
Since 2019, she is co-director of the Master of Law, Digital, AI at the University of Toulouse Capitole. In addition, she is a member of the chair in Law, Accountability and Social Trust in AI of the Artificial Intelligence Institute of Toulouse (ANITI). In 2012, she received the thesis award from the French Data Protection Authority (CNIL) for her thesis on the notion of personal data, published by Michalon.
She also directed the publication of a collective work on digital identity, published by Larcier in 2020, which received an award from the International Forum of Cybersecurity in 2021. She is currently co-editing two books: one on artificial intelligence (co-edited with Céline Castets-Renard, Professor at the University of Ottawa) and the other on self-sovereign digital identity (co-edited with Giorgia Macilotti, Researcher at the University of Toulouse Capitole).
