Cindy received a Bachelor’s degree in Cultural Analysis and Sociology from LMU Munich, and proceeded to delve deeper into Cultural Analysis and MCTS by acquiring more ethnographic and theoretical experience with a Master’s degree from LMU and TUM, focusing on the interplay among science, technology, and society.
As a doctoral researcher in the Innovation, Society, and Public Policy (ISPP) group, her project, “Hidden Regions: Innovation in the Periphery”, seeks to explore the regional innovation cultures in economically strong small- and medium-sized cities, focusing on how local culture, socio-economic, historical, and political contexts engage with global innovation dynamics, and vice versa.
