Opening for Professorship “Ethics in Systems Design and Machine Learning”

We are pleased to announce that TUM is offering a Tenure Track Assistant Professorship for Ethics in Systems Design and Machine Learning! This position will be assigned as a joint appointment to both the MCTS and the Faculty of Informatics (job listing).

Would you like to conduct research at the cutting-edge interface between the humanities and (information) technology on ethical questions in systems design and data sciences as well as on justifications for algorithms and systems? Are you eager to develop an independent, transdisciplinary and integrative program of responsive, society-oriented and responsible research? Then you are a perfect fit for us!

The professorship should contribute to strengthening the field of “Responsible Research and Innovation” (RRI) at the TUM and at the same time enrich the profile of the MCTS in interdisciplinary Science and Technology Studies.
