Doctorate completed
On July 4, 2017, Nina Witjes successfully completed the oral examination for her doctorate, in which she dealt with “The Co-Production of Science, Technology and International Politics: Exploring Emergent Fields of Knowledge and Policy”.
Nina Witjes’ doctoral project focuses on the interactions between science and technology (S&T), and global politics on the level of discourses, institutions, representations and identities.
Its three case studies investigate the international S&T cooperation between Austria and China, science diplomacy and satellite imagery analysis in the text context of security policy.
