David studied Social- and Cultural Anthropology as well as Political Science at the Free University of Berlin. After spending a semester at Boğaziçi Üniversitesi in Istanbul, Turkey, he earned his BA in 2013. He completed his MA in Sociology at the Technical University of Berlin in 2015. Since October 2015, David is a PhD candidate at MCTS’ Reorganizing Industries Lab, where his research focuses on the changing user constructions in prosthetics following the introduction of 3D printing. As part of that work, he recently completed a two months stay as visiting scholar at the Biomedical Design and Systems Laboratory at the University of Victoria.
